Parks to host Master Plan Public Meetings
Division of Parks and Neighborhoods to host Master Plan Public Meetings
Posted on 10/14/2019
The City of Memphis Parks and Neighborhoods Division, will host three public meetings to gain insight, suggestions and priorities from residents and youth on how to improve parks and recreation. As a part of the community engagement component of the Parks and Neighborhoods Master Plan process, residents from across the city are invited to attend and participate. This process will generate an all-encompassing strategic action plan for the department to work from for the next ten years.

“Talking with and listening to residents to get a sense of what they really want is the most effective way to identify our greatest opportunities to improve our parks,” said Maria Munoz-Blanco, Director of Memphis Parks and Neighborhoods. “I’m confident the feedback we receive from these public meetings will help us to create a community-oriented park experience.”

These meetings are free and open to the public.
